Critiques

A lot of processing work appears to have gone into this image. Now, that's not the kind of thing that necessarily bothers me, and ...

Journal Entry: Mon Oct 12, 2009, 5:28 AM

...As I am discovering whilst working on one a photo from my recent trip to Peru. I waited and waited for the blasted thing to get out of the way, but it wouldn't budge. I guess I just need patience with the clone stamp tool, unless anyone knows of a better way to remove foreground objects!

Thanks to all those who have wished me well with my exciting tropical bug. To give you an update (without any nasty stuff, I promise), I'm feeling a lot better and seem to be back to normal. However my course of medication doesn't finish until tomorrow evening, so the real test will be what happens after that. Fingers - and toes - crossed... At least the experience has given me some free time to work on photos.

Anyway, all of this 'news' is rather trivial. The real reason that I wanted to update my journal today is that I've recently come across some excellent photos here on dA that I wanted to feature - so here goes! :D

Thanks for taking the time to look at my gallery and leave me some good comments, rather than the usual "great shot" everyone is so used to posting. :)

You're most welcome. I try to add something at least slightly thoughtful to the comments I make on others' works - it only seems fair to try if they've taken the time to look at my work! :D

You know, I've been called a lot of things in my life, but never an inspiration. I'm really, honestly, touched and flattered. Anyway, I'll try my best to keep being so - please let me know if I fall off the wagon :P

And don't worry about the :+fav: and run behaviour, I'm guilty of it too usually!
