You were wondering where I've been? (You weren't?  Oh, OK...)

Anyway, I'm still alive and well.  Which is good to hear, especially for me.  Work is busy enough that I don't shoot as much as I'd like, and I seem to edit even less.  I must get better at that.  (I won't, but it's good to maintain a few hopeless dreams.)

On the extremely positive side, however, I have finally bitten the bullet - and possibly more, financially, than I can chew - by buying a new camera to replace my slightly long-in-the-tooth D70s.  So next week a shiny box bearing my new D7000 will, I hope, arrive...   If it's not one hundred times better, as its name suggests, I might be slightly disappointed.

Thank you, 0% credit cards.  You have saved me once again.

Anyway, more stuff coming up no doubt.  New gear - and the eventual approach of spring - will, I hope, spur me into action.
